516 South Muskogee (just south of downtown) is now a drop-off point for Tahlequah Recycling. Our recycling bin is inside (except for pickup day, which is Wednesday, when it will be on the front curb), so please bring it inside, but there is no need to sort your items - it all goes in the same bin. We are typically here 9am - 4pm Monday - Thursday(and other times can be arranged).

Go to TahlequahRecycling.com then to residential rates and scroll down to see a list of acceptable items and do's and don'ts. Plastic (#1 and #2), metal and aluminum cans should all be rinsed prior to recycling. Magazines, junk mail, paper, cardboard, small scrap metal, etc are all acacceptable.

They will not pick up glass, but will take it at The Lawnmower Shop north of town, and I am making a run up there as needed, and maybe others are willing to pitch in with this also.

We also have an "Exchange Basket" - any reusable items you dont want you can drop off, and anything in the basket you can take with you.
