Our troops make extraordinary sacrifices every day. They protect us from harm and ensure our freedom and biker way of life. For years Oklahoma Biker printed photos of our service men and women in support of their heroic actions. Although we no longer print soldiers' pictures, I still believe every soldier should know how grateful we are for all they do.

Even if we do not support the war we should write letters and send cards to our soldiers overseas and let them know how much their sacrifice means to us.  I urge you to be personal explaining who you are, what you do, where you live, and what is important to you. Don't be disappointed if you don't get a letter back. Many of these service people are just teenagers or in their early 20s, and have very little down-time. Do you remember procrastinating when you were young and had to write a letter or thank you note?
